New sessions for the online workshop "Getting started with R for busy people" are open

Dear R enthusiast,

I am delighted to announce that I opened new sessions for my two-day long online workshop Getting started with R for busy people. As usual, they run in Paris time and in Eastern time.

As an experiment, I opened a lot more sessions than usual. Until now, all sessions were on Thursday and Friday. This experiment allows me to test other weekdays. At the end of the experiment, I am expecting to return to a more normal number of sessions.

In the United States, Threads already has more daily users than X

Matt Navarra on Threads, citing a Business Insider article, reports that in the United States, Threads already has more daily users than X, formerly Twitter. In April 2024, Threads has 28 million daily active users, X has 22 million. Threads has 100 million monthly active users, X has 140 million.
